Taking part in HEYA was an experience that went far beyond performing. Above all, it was an opportunity to create human connections, share a piece of my artistic universe, and experience my first time on stage in a professional and supportive environment.
What impacted me the most were the reactions and feedback from the audience, the other artists, and the professionals present. Receiving feedback allows you to step back and look at your project from a different perspective. It helps you understand what makes you unique as an artist, what naturally stands out in your work, how people perceive you, and also what areas can still be improved. For me, this experience marked a starting point—a foundation on which to build what comes next.
It was also the first time I had been in contact with so many other artists. These exchanges made me realise that we all face the same doubts, the same difficulties, and the same challenges. It is reassuring to know that you are not alone, and incredibly motivating to learn from one another.
This experience strengthened my desire to keep creating, sharing, and developing my project. Since that session, I have even formed a band to accompany me on stage and help me build a true live performance project.
Thank you to Mélanie and the entire team for their dedication and for creating a platform that allows artists to meet, share, and grow together!
