What I particularly loved about HEYA was, first of all, the meticulous organisation, but above all the great care and kindness behind every aspect of the event, from the sound and the set design to the presentation and overall experience.
What truly won me over was the diversity of artistic disciplines. You don’t just discover the more traditional formats of comedy and music stages, but also poetry, opera, and many other forms of expression. There is a genuine mix of artistic worlds.
I still remember François Kervin’s performance, accompanied by Sora, who told us a captivating fantasy story over a musical backdrop. I found this abundance of creativity incredibly inspiring, and it encouraged me not to limit myself in my own artistic practice, but to integrate prose and poetry into my creations.
Thank you, HEYA!
